I recently joined a Meet-up called Seattle Indie Women in Design. I’ve been impressed with the collective knowledge and sincerity among the women who show up. It is organized by Erin Anacker of Betwixt. She states very clearly, “We help women in design connect with their people. You are not alone in the challenges you face running a design business. And you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.”
She thinks (and I agree), “the greatest achievement of business is lending context for relationship” and “without people, design is nothing.”
Erin decided to feature designers she knew, with mini profiles, inspired by the 100 days project. She will share a day in the life of indie designers from all over the world for 100 days on Instagram and her Blog.
Here’s mine—it gives a glimpse into my workspace, what inspires me, and what’s on my mind—now and back when!
