“Haunting the CEO” book design

John Hughes, author of Haunting the CEO, needed help preparing his inspirational leadership story for publishing. He wanted the first printing to be a hardcover, cloth-bound and hot-stamped book. Classy.

This is from his website:

In 2010, John wrote and published Haunting the CEO, a leadership book written in story format. The book has been a top Management & Leadership seller on Amazon, and has been utilized as curricula by MIS and MBA departments at universities nationally.

He came to me with a Word document and a dream. The following collaboration took place over a four-month period.

  • Establish language and punctuation style for proofreader
  • Print management
  • Copyfitting to printer’s specs
  • Select fonts, page layout and chapter openings
  • Spotless Books logo
  • Cover design
  • Jacket design
  • Inside design: front matter, back matter
  • e-book conversion

Beautiful! That’s what one person said about my book . . . Well, that beauty came from Barb Rowan! Barb designed the cover and the inside aesthetics and layout. Want beautiful results your customers will love? Call Barb Rowan!
